Earlier this year, at Mobile World Congress, NetFoundry announced it is partnering with Integron, a global leader providing managed services for the IoT industry, by making available extremely secure, high-performance software defined networking solutions, including those designed specifically for the healthcare information technology community.

Together with Integron, we are proud to demonstrate managed services for clinical trials of connected medical device solutions at the annual meeting of the Drug Information Association (DIA) at their event in Chicago, June 18 – 22. DIA is the only global, membership organization dedicated to bringing health care product development professionals together to share insights and drive action in health care product development and life cycle management.

With over 12,000 members, including professionals from pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, government, students, and patient groups, the organization produces the largest, longest-running event in the life sciences industry designed to drive awareness and education around the improvement of health through the advancement of lifesaving medicines and technologies.

We are honored to have been selected by Integron to share their exhibition space and demonstrate the software defined networking as a managed service we have created in collaboration with the team at Integron over the last few months.

Freedom Through Software Defined Networking (SDN)

SDN enables easy deployment of private networks with advanced security on top of existing cloud, data center, and edge infrastructure, and in one use case, Integron is able to offer the spinning up of 100% private networks with highly secure data transfer for connected device trials, which can then be scaled commercially as more and more companies advance connected care solutions that include devices tracking vital signs and more.

NetFoundry offers the world’s first platform that enables enterprises to extend software defined networking across IoT, clouds, and IT with the security and reliability of WANs, but with the agility of an Internet-based, software-only architecture.

Integron is embedding the NetFoundry MultiCloud and IoTConnect platform within the Integron managed service solution.

The integrated solution is now part of Integron’s complete portfolio of managed IoT services, which also include device and wireless management.

“Integron’s proven track record of supporting large scale IoT implementations, and NetFoundry’s ability to encrypt network traffic where it is only readable by trusted edge elements is a powerful combination”, said Carl Ford, Conference Chairman of IoT Evolution. “Integron and NetFoundry together set a new high bar for IoT device and application security.”

Visit Integron and NetFoundry (booth 2058) at DIA 2017 in Chicago, June 18-22, and contact Rob Boardman if you’d like to meet up!
