At NetEvents Global Press and Analyst Summit last week in San Jose, CA, a Shark-Tank panel of Silicon Valley Venture Capitalists voted and named NetFoundry the winner of the 2017 IoT Innovation Leader award and we could not be more proud.
The awards cover the industry’s most pressing and dynamic areas, including the Internet of Things (IoT), Security and Cybersecurity, and the Cloud/Datacenter. Additionally, each area includes a “Hot Startup” and “Innovation Leader” award. In total 6 awards were given out and we received the IoT Innovation Leader award.
At the award presentation, the judges’ noted that NetFoundry’s approach to solving a set of problems in a practical way — over the top of the world’s existing networks — with an on-demand, intent based network, secure, instant SDN creating virtual “slices” for a variety of applications/uses which gave it the edge over the other finalists: Cloudera, GE (General Electric), and Zebra Technologies.

Users can spin-up globally available app-driven networks in minutes and these “AppWANs” include endpoint identity, identity and access management (IAM) policies, and Quality of Experience (QoE) policies.
